Arnav Kolluru, a Maroa-Forsyth 7th grader, won the 43rd Annual Regional Spelling Bee this past Saturday at Richland Community College. Dennis Lab 7th grader, Seamus Jordan, came in 2nd, and Sangamon Valley 5th grader, Heath Allen placed 3rd. Arnav now qualifies for the preliminaries of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which will be held virtually with the Finals to be held at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
