Area 4 SEL Hub

The Area 4 SEL Hub understands schools continue to struggle with attendance, discipline, and teacher burnout. It’s not easy right now. Parents and students look to schools for answers. Area 4 Social-Emotional Learning Hub is ready to help! We offer assistance to educators, staff, and district leaders by providing the support and resources needed to be successful.

Our Area 4 SEL coaches can support:

  • Completing a needs assessment

  • Identifying strengths and areas for improvement

  • Creating, implementing, and supporting an action plan, which includes goals, resources, strategies, and targeted professional development

With the knowledge of the Area 4 Social-Emotional Learning Coaches, this grant-supported opportunity will provide you with the social-emotional supports that your staff and students need right now.

  • Upcoming sessions - for upcoming SEL coursework available through Macon-Piatt ROE.

  • Newsletter - monthly - (coming soon)!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Illinois State Board of Education, the Regional Offices in Illinois' Area 4 (9, 11, 17, 32, 39 & 54) are able to bring training and opportunities to the  teachers spread across the 18 counties of our Area.
